Lambreta XP70 rendered with Cycles

At last I’ve finished this futuristic motorcycle based on a Lambreta design. I’ve used Cycles for the final render.
In the normal scene file there are three different scenes. One the scene itself, another to render only the lights and one for the composition (all render files are included).
The montage file also have three scenes. One to render only the motorcycle, another for the shadows and another one for the lights, the composition is made in the scene named “mota”.

The background image is from travfotos and you can download it at http://www.fotopedia.com/items/flickr-3920728321 (not included in the file)
The textures are from PlainTextures
The HDRI environment map is from OpenFootage

BlenderPT December 2011 Competition – Pet Rocks

This is my entry to the BlenterPT (blender Portuguese community) December 2011 Competition. The theme was about Pet Rocks, and I decided to recreate the Star Trek Next Generation crew and the Enterprise bridge.
Rendered with Cycles.

This post is to thank the great people from PlainTextures, for offering me an one year membership subscription.
I found their site when I was making the last version of my bedroom rendered with cycles, I needed some textures I couldn’t find anywhere. They have very good textures and I will certainly be using them often in my renders.

Realistic interior scene – Bedroom Cycles 02

Updated the Bedroom Cycles Scene.
I added a direct sun lamp and changed some textures and materials. Everything should render fine now (if you get a black picture, check the textures path).
The image bellow was rendered with cycles r41246.

This is a new scene I’m working on. It’s not finished yet, I need to add a few more things and fix another, so you need to wait a little longer for the finished version and the .blend file ;)

This is the bedroom I did a while ago but this time rendered with Cycles. I couldn’t do some things, like create a sun and the light and the light doesn’t pass through glass, even if it is completely transparent.

Another Civilization

I did this picture to enter a challenge created by the BlenderPT community. Unfortunately I couldn’t finish it in time!
Everything was created using only blender, all the textures where hand painted using the blender painting tools (that was one of the requirements of the challenge).
I tried to capture all the making process, but at some point it was impossible to work and record at the same time, my old laptop couldn’t handle the job :(

In the download file there are 3 blend files. One for the animal, well only one animal (animais.blend), another for the background (fundo.blend) and the main file (natureza_inter-planetaria.blend), also a folder with all the textures.

Tutorial de Blender – Montagem 3D-2D

First of all, my apologies to the people that doesn’t understand portuguese! I can write, more or less, in english, but I can’t speak very well, even so you can mute the sound, put some background music and watch the tutorial, I’m quite sure you will understand how it’s done.

Agora, para quem entende português! Desde já as minhas desculpas pela péssima qualidade do som. O único micro que consegui arranjar é bastante mau, grava mais ruído que outra coisa, mesmo conseguindo reduzir grande parte do ruído em certas partes do tutorial não se entende o que digo, mesmo assim creio que poderão seguir o tutorial e entender todo o processo. Espero!
